The Government of Canada Biofuels Bill Receives Royal Assent

OTTAWA - June 26, 2008 - The Senate today voted in favour of the Government of Canada's Biofuels Bill.  The amendments to the Canadian Environmental Protection Act (Bill C-33) will give the Government authority to develop regulations for renewable fuels mandating a 5 per cent renewable content in gasoline by 2010 and 2 per cent renewable content in diesel fuel and heating oil by 2012... read more

Recent Order of Canada Appointment
